What is a profile?

A profile is one set of books: one business, one person's finances, one client's accounting. Create as many as you need. Everyone on an instance shares its profiles.

Can I use Clams on more than one instance?

Yes. Your account signs you in on every instance you're part of.

How do I add someone to my team?

Invite them from the CLI. They install Clams and sign in with their email. Nothing to provision on your end.

Is Clams really free?

Yes. Unlimited people, books, wallets, transactions, and reports. All you need is an email to sign in. We make money when companies bring in our team through Enterprise.

Where does my data live?

By default, Clams runs on your own machine and your data stays with you. You can also self-host on your own server. With Enterprise, our team helps you deploy a dedicated setup on your own infrastructure.

When do I need Enterprise?
